An electronic policy is an insurance agreement concluded online on the website of Insurance Company, after which it is sent to the client in pdf format. Immediately after its conclusion, payment and signature, the policy becomes legitimate and meets all the requirements of the Legislation of Ukraine.

Deductible is the part of losses that the insurance company does not reimburse. Their coverage is taken over by the policy owner at his own expense. Usually, the availability of a deductible in insurance significantly reduces its cost: the greater the amount of damages that the driver will compensate independently, the cheaper the insurance policy will be.

You can issue an insurance policy independently on our website and receive an electronic policy. If necessary, you can come to the office of the VUSO Insurance Company. To do this, select your city, the street of the representative office and a convenient time for you from the list in the section "Points of sale".

You must notify the company of the occurrence of the insured event. To do this, call the assistance number listed in your contract.

If you have lost your insurance policy or you have difficulties with calling the contact numbers specified in the Agreement (policy), then use the instructions: 

  1. select the phone number of the country in which you are located and call the Assistance Service;
  2. provide the following information: full name, location, place of purchase of the policy, inform that you are the VUSO client and you have lost the policy;
  3. in case of loss of the insurance policy, the Assisting Company will organize assistance and instruct you on further actions.

 

MTPL
MTPL

The MTPL INSURANCE electronic insurance policy is a form of agreement for internal civil liability insurance of owners of land vehicles in electronic form. You can present such a document to a police representative on a smartphone or tablet.

In this column, you need to enter the name of the city where the car owner is registered. Information about the place of registration of the car owner can be found in the passport of a citizen of Ukraine and the technical passport.

Deductible is the amount of loss that is deducted from insurance compensation and is covered by the client independently.

Yes, the MTPL Insurance applies to any driver.

There is no such possibility on the website. To use the "bonus-malus" option, which is valid in the company, you need to contact the company's representative office and get an individual calculation of the agreement cost.

Since the cost of cars is increasing recently, the cost of their repair is also increasing accordingly. Sometimes the insurance payment of UAH160,000 may not be enough, so the VUSO recommends to increase the limit in order not to spend your own funds.

This product allows getting a payout from the VUSO within 14 days of an accident if you become an affected party. You don't have to wait 90 days and hope for payments from another insurance company. Payment is calculated without considering the wear and tear of car parts.

According to the direct settlement system, the VUSO client affected in a traffic accident will receive compensation under the MTPL INSURANCE from his insurance company. There is no need to collect a bunch of documents to receive compensation from another insurance company – this is the VUSO matter. The client will receive a payment for car repair without unnecessary hassle and according to an accelerated program 6 times faster than before.

MTPL INSURANCE is mandatory insurance that guarantees payments to the affected party if you are the culprit of the road accident. CASCO is a voluntary insurance that will help you if a road accident was not your fault.

If your car is only partially damaged or there are no other participants in the accident, a police report is not required.

The main restriction is driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In this case, we will not compensate the cost of repairing the car. In addition, Insurance Company does not compensate expenses in the case of theft or damage to tires, wheels, license plates. Damage to the carbody during operation (chips, rust) is also not compensated by insurance.

Technical assistance is a service that provides assistance on the road in case of unexpected car breakdown.

The insurance is paid out according to the conditions specified in the legislation of the country where the accident occurred.

Yes, all VUSO programs include a basic insurance package in case a tourist gets sick with COVID while abroad. You can also choose an extended policy with more options. The coronavirus is not included in the list of exclusions and we treat it in accordance with the terms of the insurance agreement.

It is required. When crossing the border, the customs officials may ask to provide a tourist insurance policy for the duration of the trip.

You can save the pdf file of the insurance policy on your phone or tablet and present it at the border if necessary.

This paragraph means that during the trip you plan to engage in active sports: diving, skiing or snowboarding, rock climbing, paragliding and others. If any of the above is part of your vacation plan, please check the box next to "Active Leisure" paragraph.

Travel insurance packages differ in content. Thus, the package L has a deductible of 50 euros. It is not available in the XL and XXL packages. The XL package includes compensation of 100 euros in case of loss of your luggage and 50 euros in case of flight delay or cancellation. In addition to these options, the XXL package includes legal consultation (limit 1000 euros) and insurance compensation in case of loss of documents – 100 euros. All insurance packages provide emergency dental treatment with different payment limits: package L – 100 euros, package XL – 150 euros, package XXL – 200 euros.

In this case, having an extended limit will help you, by allowing not to compensate losses from your own wallet. However, the extension of the amount is not mandatory.

When calculating the cost, the selected limit, car parameters, and the policy term are taken into account.

As of July 1, 2022, the following limits will apply in Ukraine under the MTPL INSURANCE: up to 160,000 hryvnias per affected person for damage to property, and up to 320,000 hryvnias per affected person for damage to life and health of the affected persons.
